Curiosity

A Poem by The_Last_Spartan
"

I almost forgot how much I loved this one.

"
Do you recall,
What happened late last fall?
She was a profound little girl,
who couldn't help but to wonder around,
but sadly she met a watery doom.
For she was unaware,
the ice was as thin as a hair,
and before anyone could think,
she was already six feet deep.

So sad. I can see it all, yet you only show it with a few short lines. You have an amazing talent for that. I tend to be more wordy, and sometimes I wish I could use very little words, but yet show exactly what emotion or story I'm trying to tell. You have an amazing talent for that! Keep up the good work!

So far I've read two of your poems and each of them (including this one) has an intriguing story with awesome imagery. Keep up the good work!

I like how it's realistic, I can honestly imagine a child crawling around on ice like that. Good one, hon.

I hate these types of things; you know the: "DESCRIBE YOURSELF" thing. I always have trouble really trying to explain what kind of person I am. I guess I never really know, we never really know our tr.. more..
