On Cloud Nine

On Cloud Nine

A Poem by The_Last_Spartan
"

One of my favorite new poems. But I'm still unsure of what I should call it; any suggestions in the comments would be very much appreciated.

"

How did time manage to fly,

Away from my hands and up to the sky?

Why do I reach for the stars,

When I don’t have wings to carry me that far?

I thought I had both feet on the ground,

When I was up to the clouds.

But I didn’t come this far just to be shot back down,

I will rise up no matter how many times I am denied my crown.

I will always be strong and never look back,

For if I did I don’t know how long I would last.

I have to faith in myself;

That was my past,

This is my present,

And that is my future.

About
I hate these types of things; you know the: "DESCRIBE YOURSELF" thing. I always have trouble really trying to explain what kind of person I am. I guess I never really know, we never really know our tr.. more..
