Teen Angst

Teen Angst

A Poem by Matt

Passing notes, pinned against the lockers.

After school promise, kiss behind the bleachers.

Best friend hook up, food fights.

IM-ing in computer class, puking in health.

Detention walks, lockers slamed in your face.

No freakin pencils, the gay kids in the corner.

High School sweet hearts, stealing lunch money.

Messing up the bathrooms, watching cheer-leaders.

Taking foot-balls, looking up girls skirts.

Teasing the boys, chewing gum in class.

Inside jokes, licking windows.

Slushies for lunch, creepy teachers.

Four-square, biting your imaginary friend.

Being bad-a*s, no-reason-to-live stage.

Sleeping on the desks, being a teenage nightmare.

Teeanagers-

because everyone loves a smart-a*s
