Mittens for Kittens

I wanted to write a poem about mittens and kittens since I was always saying it when getting my daughters mittens for her. Haven't had time to sit down and do some drawings to make a book.

I made mittens from kittens.

I shaved them all bare,
and knitted the mittens with all kitten hair.

That is not fair the kittens declare
to wear the rare pair and leave us in cold air.

So to show that I care I shaved off my hair
and made mittens for kittens with all I could spare.
