My High

My High

A Poem by Lawrence Brown

My High

Wrapped in its embrace the taste feels me up,Taking all my pains away into nothing.

Chocolate skin she's the beauty of my eyes that stirs my soul, and her sister Crystal is a dear friend I know.

I met them when Mary and Jane left my world, my friend Hennessey said he knew a white girl.

So I visited and stayed for many months, now I'm just a forgotten dope and drunk..
