you see grass, I see dirt, that should be grass, instead of a field, filled with glass, and trash, along with bits of ash, that the homeless leave as they burn trees, and leaves, to stay warm, as they battle storms, from within their brains, becoming insane, while trying to tame feelings of worth, becoming hurt, by frowns, that's handed out with no care, just cold stares, have you wondered about their fears, or how about the years, and time gone pass, that has destroyed some of the plans to succeed, as greed, continues to deceive way too many. Do you see... Lawrence Brown 8-16-2014 © 2015 Lawrence Brown |
