Glacial star

Glacial star

A Poem by GlacialStars
"

I won't much! It's just a poem about a star. Tell me what you understood ;D

"

Just another star

Empty, cold, lifeless

Set apart from the flames

Of this chemical reaction

Consumed within the pain

Of this eternal passion

A sphere of light so cruelly shunned

A blast of roaring fires heard by none

A bright light

Seen but not acknowledged

Burning

But his heat is ignored

Just another star out of plenty

Pay it no mind

He’s just hot and empty

A burning circle of energy

Hanging in the void of his galaxy

This star will be unrecognized

Until it dies within its own embers

Screams in its own fires

And turns into nothing but a black hole

Turns from day to night

From warm to glacial

From safe to lethal

He will become…just another glacial star

I don't know if you meant for this but I found a lot of personification in this. You're calling a star a 'him' which is cool. it brings a lot of life to your poem. You're a very talented poet; my fellow writer.
I specifically liked your third stanza. "Seen but not acknowledged" is pretty powerful. It also is how people feel everyday.
This piece is just as wonderful as your last. Write more!
