Who are you?A Story by WhiteCanarieWho are you? “Well, it depends on who you ask. That chick over there, she thinks I’m one of the greatest sisters ever; someone who’s wise, compassionate, goofy at times...I'm someone she loves talking to and being with. She even views me as a mother figure who gives advice and helps whenever I can. She wouldn't trade me for the world, even if we do get into minor spats every now and then. The girl next to her would say I’m a horrid monster who views anyone who isn’t my friend as inferior pests. She’d say I have no soul, no heart, and that I’m just a spiteful b***h who doesn’t deserve to have friends. She'd jump at any chance to say something negative about me and spit if she heard something positive about me. I might as well be the bane of her existence. That man across from them, he’d probably say I’m the most wonderful thing ever; his life, love, world. I’m probably the most beautiful creature in his eyes, sweet and spicy, strong, compassionate, smart and skilled. He wouldn't trade me for anything either, and would probably give his life for me. The female next to him would say otherwise; a b***h without prowess, a wannabe, a coward and fake who should be looked down on by all or snuffed out from existence. She feels similarly towards me, like the girl across from her, but she's more stuck up when it comes to acting. And pretty hypocritical. Another guy, perpendicular to them, might say I’m like a stubborn mule who needs to be broken and taught obedience. That I know no modesty, I perch myself on a pedestal that shouldn’t be beneath my posterior, and that I’m so stuck up I won’t talk to anyone who doesn’t interest me in the least. Others have different or similar opinions, of course. So like I said, it depends on who you ask, and who you choose to believe. Or you could try to get to know me, and formulate an opinion of your own.
