Nobody Knows

Nobody Knows

A Poem by Just Some Dreamer
"

I know.. my poems have simliar themes, but I like this one. :)

"

Some wounds never heal

Sometimes we don’t see the pain one feels

Because nobody know what happens behind closed doors and thick walls

Nobody knows what happens in those strange, forbidden halls

If you were to see her

You would never know

Because there is nothing painful she would show

She works so hard on her masterful cover

But sometimes all the truth does to one, is smother

Nobody would guess from her gorgeous smile

Only she knows, that happiness stays for just a little while

She cover the scars with loads of makeup in fear

Worried, distraught, if her friends might hear

She worked so hard to rise to the top

But it could goes so fast, like when bubbles pop

Sometimes she breaks down

But my dear, she doesn’t utter a sound

For she is stuck in hell

Her mind is her own cell

So if you were to ever meet

Or happen to run into her on the street

Know there is something more than meets the eye

Know that her little excuse is a flat little lie

Sometimes we think we know their story

Thinking they’ve got all the glory

You can never truly see

You only know what she pretends, and wants, to be

You won’t ever know till you cross the thresh hold

Until you see her ugly story, that remains untold

Because, darling, nobody knows

Which way the wind blows

Emotional and mental scars are tough wounds to heal.
But healing the inside can take a lifetime or more.
The hardest part is trying to fix what is not broken. An endless cycle.
But it's all based on lies.
The victim does not have to be a victim unless they allow it.
It's all in the mind frame. weather you except to believe the words and treatment that help create the mind thoughts with it.
It's like a Labyrinth. How do you find your way out of a Labyrinth the easy way?
Go over it ! There is always a 3rd choice. We do not have to be fixed. We just deny any brokeness.
When negative thoughts come. Train yourself to deny it. claim your right as a whole and complete perfect creation.

I found that I had two voices... One that always say's I'm not.. and one that says "I Am" I discovered that the one I'm not was always the one saying I was broken, flawed, not worthy or hopeless.

The Voice of the I Am says" I have all I need and have the power by my own thoughts to create whatever life I choose.and tells me not to believe in the I'm Not. One is a positive mind frame the other negative.
By the "law of Attraction" alone we set our own coarse on the Kings Highway by our mind frame and then the world must follow.
Sadly, I wasted so many years with the same thoughts of the subject you love to write about.
Only now to see I lived my life on lies. I come forward and said what I said because I now see thru the lies and that place is Hell and no one should suffer it. I come forward with raw courage to say to you Sister take my hand.. lets go home.. With all my heart.....to yours." Leave no Soul Behind "

Such a sadness in the masks... the covers to hide one's true self. I hope we can take your words to heart and look deeper into the lives of those walking by each day.

This is. . . oh my god.
I cannot top CryingKate's review, and this poem is so sadly true for so many people. It spreads, the hiding does, the things we cannot talk about. Trust me, Dreamer, some people in our lunch room are hididng so many things they cannot talk about for exactlyy the fear you say.
You see, you understand, and you write.
Amazing.
I love this one.

A social problem theme that needs addressing and here you have clearly defined the deimensions of battering. The points delivered strike home and the motive of the writing was achieved. I enjoyed this one.
