Green-Eyed BeautyA Poem by Just Some DreamerMy least favorite emotion, by far
Her eyes a
beautiful green Her
voice, taunting, hurtful, and mean Flawless, white
skin caresses her beautiful face Each hair,
comment, and notion perfectly in place She is one that
fills the joyful with hate She is the one
drawing your demented, twisted fate With each
longing stare With each time
you compare Her stunning figure
glides on air Changed,
altered, she makes one vain Cruel and gentle,
she is a subtle, shameful pain She looks innocent
and sweet but the one to blame For she has
made you start this never ending game The one you can’t
control, the emotion you can’t cage Swelling,
growing, seeping with rage And when I see her I want to scream My insanity hanging on, dangerously, by the
seam I want to rid myself of this madness and tear
her from her dream This is a monster no one can kill They don’t believe it until they feel her icy
chill She is conjured
from you, from me Evil but quite a beauty Her eyes green,
her lips red, her voice velvet “Hello, my name
is Envy…” © 2012 Just Some DreamerReviews
