I could be AmericanA Poem by The Villainmy feelings on what it has come to mean to be American
We're all humans
I could be American If I wanted to, but I hold too strong the sanctity of Life. I'm talking ALL life, like Iraqis and Afghani's, Sudanese and Kenyans, Pirates and Terrorists, Man, woman, and child. I don't care what you've done you can be striped of every right but the one to live. Well here's my right and you can take the hit or move out of my way because my speech is a freight train from hell that's right I'm talking my way to the top I could be a politician but community sounds better I could be a soldier but peace sounds better I could be American but Human sounds better. © 2011 The Villain |
