I lost myself,
while I was dreaming,
of the place inside my head,
it's dark, but warm,
with constant thunderstorms,
lightning flickers like never ending strobe lights in the sky,
i can subconsciencely smell the rain,
it dances while it falls all around me,
i see myself,
and i'm dancing in a beautiful silk flowing black dress,
even in the pouring rain I manage to stay dry,
i dance circles around a naked tree,
allowing the wind to caress my body gracefully,
gentle music plays from the rolling clouds,
it's zen..
i start chanting in song,
i feel full of electricity,
knowing that her spirit lies within me,
I offer my hands to the goddess,
and she gently kisses my finger tips,
it's then, i know,
she's always watching over me,
my smile drowns in my tears of happiness,
as I start to dance faster,
and the love grows stronger,
but the rain stops,
so does the music, my song,
and the thunder,
the dark world starts to fade into a darker place,
and then turns into light,
as i open my eyes from the enchanted plane,
i wonder if it all was just a dream,
or was it real?
