Invisible BoxA Poem by PennyLane02Tell me what you think this is aboutTrapped inside a dark invisible box, silhouettes of smokey myst caresses my body, I reach for you, but my hands are stopped, like a little green frog stuck on a windshield, I reach for you, but you don't even notice, im ashamed to even look up, utterly alone, my head says "i need you so badly" my heart says "look another way" i don't even want to try, single tears tickle there way down my cheek, like tiny waterfalls of sadness, as i fall too my knees, my hands still reaching up, for something hopeful, you still don't notice me, pondering in my lonely existance, it seems years have gone by, i finally remember who i am, I looked another way, and I see my way out of the dark entrapment, my heart fills full for the first time, until i catch your gaze, this time, without the invisible wall, you stand closer to me, until we are mirror images, our only reflections are in each others eyes, you smiled, i didn't even blink, in that second, my decision was made, and i smiled too, you leaned in for a kiss, but i walked away, an you stood there confused, lonely, and sad, inside a dark invisible box....
