This is fantastic! You have said so much, so simply, so eloquently. I cannot say enough great things about this. This style truly appeals to me - when you can speak metaphor without saying a word. This absolutely gripped me from the first lines through the last. This could have been a great epic, and then.....well, as it turns out it was, indeed. It was epic tale of possibility - life. How grand your writing. I completely embrace this. Well done.

This speaks of someone who is contented in their own skin and in life. It has a confidence and a calmness about it expressed succinctly in crisp flowing tones.
Many times I'm not very good at reading abstract poetry, but I definitely like the open-ended way you are sharing these somewhat opposing ideas. There's plenty of space for your readers to bring their own ideas of what existential issues may be at hand. This feels straightforward & friendly, which I much prefer when I'm reading.

A nice ending to the poem.
"But I'm puny
And grateful
For I can look up
And see life"
The above lines. Solid ad true. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thank you for the review! I'm glad you appreciated the ending :)
A deeply thought provoking write. Regardless of the conditions the Existence is "there".....I loved this line
"I don't understand it
And that's fine"
Well done!

I think the world wouldn't be as cool if we understood all of it. Then we wouldn't have anything to learn!
Being a bit philosophical myself, I can relate to this write. Everything lies within. If we can understand the subconscious self we get directly linked to that ultimate creator. Though, I am not very religious but I have always worshipped Shiva. Frankly speaking I see him in universe and universe in him and both within my subconscious self. He is in every element of existence I feel.
This is truly an uplifting write, TheUnrulyWriter.
Thanks for sharing this spiritual piece of writing :-)
I am glad that I could read something like this.

My sort of religiousness is kind of weird; I don't believe in any God or gods, but I really like what Shiva stands for. So I worship him and try and live in a way that represents what he represents. I wanted my respect for both the universe and Shiva to show through in this poem, and I'm glad you saw that as well!

You are welcome.
These limited lines of yours speak volumes! You don't want to decipher the mystery behind life, instead you are grateful for who you are and what you have...great notion! I just wanted to know if the "ohm" in the title of your poem is referring to the icon of Hinduism...or is it something else? I am not questioning the eminence of the poem...just wanted to know :)

Ohm was in reference to Hinduism, specifically the mantra "Om namah Shivaya" (I changed the spelling for aesthetic reasons") That mantra means to many people "love Shiva in yourself". Shiva represents the destruction and creation of the universe. So the mantra could also mean "love all the universe in yourself". :)

Yeah that's what I thought...you're welcome btw :)
This is an excellently-written piece of philosophy here. It had an innocence to it that gave me a good feeling throughout. Perhaps we're best as the small beings able to appreciate life, and we lose that appreciation with increasing height.
Wonderful work. :)
