A poem about the difficulties of trying to live in the present.

Sometimes I stop to think,

And I realise I haven't been.

It's tough to return home,

When it's been so long.

I can't put my finger on why, but I really, really like this. It's short and poignant and really hits the reader in four lines. I might consider adding punctuation, but that's up to you! Well done!
