Silent Tears

Silent Tears

A Poem by TheUnforgivinFallenAngel

Two people in pain,
But in two different kinds
He cries for her
But she's of a different mind.

He has brought her pain,
In many different ways
The one thing she wants
Is nothing more than freedom

Cirsumstances happen,
And salt is added to his wound;
She cannot console him; awkward, and
For fear of giving him false hope.

She sits back and watches,
And cries her silent tears for him
On the outside she is cold
But inside she cries with him.

And later he will throw up to her,
Her coldness on this day
And she will sit as always,
Stoic and silent...

As she waits...
For the next storm to pass.

Wow. I can relate to this poem so well, it's scary! I'm in shock right now. Very well written. You have a great talent for describing different situations in different relationships and giving the reader a good look into the coexistence of two people. Again, I can't believe how perfectly this fits a situation I experienced last year.

I love the last stanza! So poetic but also very sad. I really like the second stanza too:
"He has brought her pain,
In many different ways
The one thing she wants
Is nothing more than freedom"
Amazing job :)

'As she waits... /For the next storm to pass.'
This just reminds me of the bible verse: love is patient, love is kind.
'And salt is added to his wound;' just adds the extra line: Love is slowly loosing your mind. Brilliant work, as always :)
