If I die
Would you
Be there
Holding my rose
Beside my body
Saying goodbye
Letting go
Of all the bad memories
Forgiving
All my sins
Shedding your last tear
Understanding
I will be here
In your warm heart
My good friend
So do not fear
For I will be here
Beside you
Watching out
For your Tears
I will
Be your angel
If I die
I think there might be two separate poems here, the first one completed with Shedding your last tear / Understanding. The second beginning I will be here / In your warm heart . . . as always, you know what they say about opinions and a******s . . . I like the way you're reaching, letting go of the rhyming form and freeing your voice
Very nice. I love the imagery of the rose and tears. And the thought of being someone's angel if you die. We always want our sins and mistakes to go away once we die, but sometimes they haunt us forever...but we must allow others to let go before we go. If any of that makes sense. Though I probably worded it all wrong. But oh well.
