If I die
Would you
Be there
Holding my rose
Beside my body
Saying goodbye
Letting go
Of all the bad memories
Forgiving
All my sins
Shedding your last tear
Understanding
I will be here
In your warm heart
My good friend
So do not fear
For I will be here
Beside you
Watching out
For your Tears
I will
Be your angel
If I die
I like how the lines are broken up. It's quick, but it flows rather well. A person can't help but wonder who'll be there when they die, and I think this puts it into perspective excellently. Great work. (:
Death is always such a peculiar feeling!
We, being the incredibly selfish human beings that we are, want to know what would happen when we die, who would miss us? Who would cry?
But only a few of us would take the extra step to actually find out.
You've portrayed feelings of confusion, compassion, even a teeny tiny hint of betrayal.
I apologize for my having taking so long in getting to it, but this really is an excellent piece!
