Frozen Pool

Frozen Pool

A Poem by TheUnforgivinFallenAngel

Sitting at the edge of a frozen pool
The icicles start to defrost
The surroundings so cool
Where I am, so lost.

Lightning came and struck
Heaving warmth closes in
I’m going in, wish me good luck
But we’re not here to win

I feel it coming closer
Becarefull, it’s slippery when wet
Everything becomes a blur
Since the moment we’ve met.

I’ll take the leap
Put myself at risk
I’ll jump into the deep
Finally I can sleep.

I’ll step up to you
And stay on your side
I’ll step up to you
No matter the tears I’ve cried

I’ll make up with you
Tell you that I’m sorry
I’ll make up with you
Up to the never ending story

I’ll confide in you
Give you my heart and soul
I’ll confide in you
Never again a black hole.
