Lost

A religious poem, i dont know, it felt like it needed to be said, i was trapped in my heart

Can I find it?

Those wings once lost

I am caged once more

With lost emotion

Call to me

Why can’t I hear your name anymore?

Have my lost tears

Finally rusted my broken halo

Why can’t I hear your voice anymore?

Are you leaving me in this darkness?

With reason

Or forgetfulness

Whatever your reason

I will answer your call

Trapped in this reality

If I am lost

Let me save the others

Let the fallen fly once more

Into your longing arms

I shall send them up by the dozens

Will you accept them?

I will take on their sins

For their chance of joy with you

Once soiled never cleaned but their purity is possible

With your care
