He loves her

He loves her

A Poem by The Trapped Angel
"

A breif poem of an unrequited love

"

There he sits

Arms crossed

Brown hair drooping in front of his face

His milky Brown eyes Gazing

At her

He loves her

He probably can’t help it

His eyes wander

Always coming back

To her

He loves her

He probably thinks no one’s realized

This feeling infecting his heart

The want of being near,

But fear of being to close

He loves her

Delicately following her lead

If she wants to do something

He will as well

He loves her

He only smiles

When she is near him

Talking to him

He loves her

He speaks openly

When she is around

His face brightens

With her smile

He loves her

She doesn’t know

He knows she’s dating someone

That she only see’s him as a friend

And will never know

He loves her

But I know

I know the pitter-patter of the heart

The fear of saying to much

Of not saying enough

Getting to close

Or being too far

The care you have

Wishing for no pain to go to them

Even if we are the ones who suffer in their place

I know this all

I understand the need to look,

When your eyes can’t leave them

They’re very presence

Making it hard to hide those feelings

I know this all

I know

He loves her

I know

Because

I love him
