Lady Lonesome

Lady Lonesome

A Poem by The Things She Noted

Life may just be dreadfully lonely

With moments of community

That leave me bitter

Aching for something greater

Someone greater

That I may not know

Life may just be echoed days of lonesome

Forced to feed into the idea of connection

But I’m not hungry

Not looking for a feast

In my life I am truly alone

Though I wake up next to you

It is always just me
