Shift in the CycleA Poem by W. HuntA seasonal poem about summer becoming fall.Shift in the Cycle Sunsets fall like shooting stars. Trees with their leaves start to shift from vibrant greens to soft reds and yellows. The ground starts to die and decay, to prepare for the next bloom. Tank-tops and shorts become T-shirts, sweaters, and jeans. A calm hung in the air, an open greeting to all. Clouds start to get bigger and grayer with each passing day. Winds start to become colder and more frequent. A part of the cycle, a splice of life, summer has gone, yet autumn has arrived. Written November 22nd, 2016
