Remembering You.

Remembering You.

A Poem by Violet

As I look up, the city lights start gleaming, in my shadow, I hear your voice, beaming.

I'm thinking of you, and your sweet smile.

As I'm walking down the side walk, I feel as if you should be by my side.

But at this time, it would be impossible, because you aren't within my reach.

As I screech in delight, I see you move swiftly to me.

You wrap your arms around my body, and pull me against you.

It feels like it's been years since I have seen you.

Now the time has come, and we at last can be with each other.

Seeing your face and your beautiful smile, makes me feel a spark inside my stomach.

This is a normal feeling I take it?

You whisper in my ear, I love you.

I get chills down my spine, as I whisper back, I love you too.

As you grab my hand, I'm feeling as warm, as the sun on my face.

I know tonight will be the night of a life time.

Just looking at what's ahead of us to come, makes me believe that this is one good relationship.

Umm, the delight and anticipation of meeting your loved one, feeling their phantom arms around you. Very nice, I like it. Hope the ending is true.
