unbelieving soul.

unbelieving soul.

A Poem by Vanessa van Gersie

I speak to the unbelieving soul
to the mind that treasures silver and gold
yet questions the origin we call creation.
I speak to the caged spirit
That would rather presume itself to be free
than accept there was a creator .
Don't you marvel at the beauty?
The order of things that even scientists fail to explain
That breathtaking sight made by only him alone
here today and tomorrow gone
how long will you doubt?
Or rather, believe it all came about by a ridiculous explosion.
I speak to myself with judgement and disregard
but aren't we all true atheists at heart.

Hi Vanessa. This is an impacting piece with a powerful message to ponder. The questions you ask are those millions try to find answers for. Your writing is always highly relatable. Amazing creation as always!
