Fickleness

Fickleness

A Poem by Molly

Your fickleness is unfair,

unjust, and undeserved.

Each time you follow me around

it surprises me,

just as much as it does when

the very next day

you seem cold, distant, and annoyed.

This hot and cold treatment

is completely unwarranted,

for I can think of nothing

I might have done

to justify such ill treatment.

What I want more than

anything from you right now

is a little constancy.

A BIT OF VENTING IN THE LINES...THE PERSON YOU ARE DESCRIBING IS NEVER HAPPY AND BEARS THE RESENTMENT ON YOU TO RELIEVE THE OF THERE TRUER NATURE THEY HIDE IN THEMSELVES...I LIKE HOW YOU ENDED THIS WITH THE LINE:

What I want more than
anything from you right now
is a little constancy.
