I am ME!

I am ME!

A Poem by Molly

I am ME.

Soul-totin’,

heart-broken,

hope-floatin’ fool.

Flat feet,

boppin’ beat,

nice to meet and cool.

String-playin’,

skin-flayin’,

non-prayin’ child.

Love-fooled,

heart-ruled,

badly tooled and wild.

Kill ya dead,

beat yo’ head,

full o’ dread me.

Lacking luster,

lotsa bluster,

no hope to muster, see?

Leave me ‘lone,

goin’ home,

never phone, no.

Needin’ hope,

don’t wanna mope,

sad misanthrope, oh.

I know me.

So who are you?
