I need you to rescue me from this.A Poem by Molly"Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap is the song I'm referring to here.
Listening to some Imogen Heap and wishing only for heavy sleep I’ll sit and ponder too much again and shake for lack of soothing friend who bestows such loving caresses, and brushes back my tatted tresses, that worries cease and peace breaks in, a blanket to cover the frightful din of thought run rampant and soul that’s shrieking lost in a landscape of secret-keeping. Tearing through the dusty air the grey dust and silence cling to hair that’s suddenly too heavy to carry but there is no time left to tarry the star-spangled darkness yet looms rushing in from newly unlocked rooms and whispers forward, close to me and breathes its coldness quietly, confident and unassuming it seeps into my body, blooming into sorrow and deepest loss, soft and muted, personal chaos. See that I need your rescue, come retrieve me from the refuse of discarded mental images, so frightening, and harsh discordant sounds, still lingering. I’ll need you to keep my cold at bay. © 2008 MollyReviews
