Scarred

Scarred

A Poem by Silent Raven

Blood red tear drops

Spill from the skin

Exposing the need

For a darker sin

Pain

Is replaced with satisfaction

Scars left

Divide my skin with fractions

The weakness I feel

Toward the knife

Was the only thing

Keeping me alive

Floating in the abyss

Of white sanity

Sinking lower

Towards insane humanity

Twisted thoughts

Twisted images

Unhealthy starving

Grand binges

Stashing feelings deep inside

Lying

Saying, “Yes,

I’m fine.”

Blood red tear drops

Spill from the skin

The knife is calling

Yet again.

Though I don't relate to this poem at all, I appreciate the quality of it. I felt the emotion of it all. The complexity and turmoil of the mind. Good job~
Never stop writing~
