Questions in my mind and love in my heart

Do you realize what today is?
Do you know your in my heart?
Is it weird that I still question;
the motives of your words?
Did you mean the words you said;
the words that gave me a song?
Were the feelings true
or just my own imaginations?
Do you still feel what we felt;
this day so many years ago?
My head questions everything still,
but my heart is empty without you.
We shared a strong love then
I hope you know my heart loves you now.
If my heart is wrong and you still live,
let me know so something can fill the emptiness.
Anything has to be better than nothingness.

I agree with this poem also, the emptiness and to have nothing is sometimes hard, but to be nothing is even harder. Beautiful piece!

Maybe its time to stop asking them and just let it go?

Maybe it's also time for people to own up to things and be honest as well. Even when I try to let things go something pops up to make it all come back fresh in my heart. Seems to be the brokenness can't heal without honesty.
