Is that too much?

its just another heartbeat,

just another breath.

Its not too long.

Just a bit more time

to hear and read

the words of love

from someone special.

The length of each daily soap.

of God and love

to those who don't know.

Gives time for another connection

to be received and given

to all those so special.

Its just a few days.

Can't you do without him?

One more Christmas,

can't he celebrate that here?

Please let him live a Christmas

loved in person by someone sweet

to feel the joy and pleasure

that a holiday love can give.

 

One more New Years,

is all I ask at the moment.

Let him get a New Year's Kiss

to touch the year of 2013,

since so many said it'd never come.

Please, give him that chance.

Please give him one more smile,

and one more joy,

Hold him close and squeeze him for me.
