Rose Ribbon

Rose Ribbon

A Poem by Seamstress

Rose ribbon stretched before me
straight within my sight
curves, twists and turns in the distance
circles race along the white dashes
chasing dreams and each other

Rose ribbon I follow along
lead me forward to a smile
let the twists and turns be joyful
circles take me to happiness
chasing dreams for another

Rose ribbon leading me there
you may get rough and steep
those twists and turns be dangerous
circles careening forward in prayer
chasing dreams He's given to me

Rose ribbon a continuous thing
lead my life through all the trials
twists and turns be guarded by God
circles glide within the direction He gives
chase the dreams following His way.
