Sitting here just thinking
Through all the differences,
We know something is between us
But we can't share it.

We open ourselves with words
But we are careful in it.

Through our poems and stories
We display our hearts and minds
But we hide it from others.

Through our chats and emails
We are more ourselves
But still hidden from so many.

Through challenges we are given

But only friendship may be our reward.

I have been sitting and thinking a heap as well. Somehow I was drawn to this site to write it out. I wrote a bit but then ran out of words ... came to comment on some pieces of your I had already read, but did not know what to say to them at the time. To my surprise ... I find that you have been here, and posting as well.
I suppose tis still true of us that intense and overwhelming emotions bring out the writers in us.
