A 19 year old girl named Cass is stuck between her old crush and a guy who fell in love with her from the very first time they met...

CASS’ POV

I feel the cold wind touching my cheeks as it blows towards me, making my hair fly backwards as I head for home. I hate windy days like this. It just makes me feel so miserable every time. It reminds me of how I know I’ll forever be alone. My parents are dead, my relatives live far away from here, I don’t have a significant other and I don’t have something that they call “real friends” since my so-called friends only love talking about themselves and they were never there for me during my emotional breakdowns. It’s a good thing my parents left me about a billion dollars in the bank but I still hate living like a loner. This is life as I know it, painful, lonely and just plain old boring.

I finally reached my apartment and found an unfamiliar guy carrying a huge box. I’m guessing that I’m having a new neighbor. Oh great, now I have to cook something as a welcoming present. The tall, dashing young man smiled at me and waved. I awkwardly smiled back at him.

“Hey, new neighbor, I’m Brad” he held out his hand and flashed a glimmering smile at me.

“Great, I’m Cass” I replied as I shook his hand.

“Hey, you think you can come over later? You know, just a small get to know each other with the other neighbors” he asked and ran his fingers through his hair.

“Sure, I’ll go but I’m telling you it won’t be much of a gathering. People around here don’t really care” I smirked.

“So, does that mean you’re not coming?” his expression changed into a disappointed one.

“No, don’t get me wrong, I’ll come but expect that it’s just gonna be the two of us there” I explained.

“What about your parents?” he asked again.

“They’re dead” I said bluntly.

“Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that” he looked ashamed of himself for asking about them.

“It’s ok, I’m used to it” I chuckled.

“Well, would you like to go out later?” he smiled.

“For what?” I asked.

“Just to get to know each other” he said.

I agreed and we went to the nearest high-class restaurant in town. Brad was the clean and smooth type of guy. He was nice and funny too. I just hope I could do this with him more often. I’d be thrilled if we could be really good friends. For the first time ever, I felt warm and comfortable around someone. What’s more surprising is I just met this guy and the atmosphere just feels cozy.

Everything was going fine until a certain someone came along. It was my high school crush Blake Harris with his arms around two voluptuous blondes. Yes, I fell in love with a jerk that didn’t care, a jerk who asked me to do his projects for him when he was still in high school yet he couldn’t even remember my name. Blake flirted with me back then, when he needed me to do schoolwork for him. He promised me that he’d take me out to compensate for all those things. He was two years older than me, so when he graduated I waited for him to come back but I realized after some time I was waiting for nothing.

He was wearing that sexy smirk on his lips just like in our old high school days. The two blondes kept on giggling and seemed ready for a make-out session with the conceited lady-killer.

“I-I want to leave, now” I uttered.

“Is there something wrong?” Brad looked worried.

“I-It’s not you, there’s just something about this place that makes me want to leave. I’m sorry” I stuttered and stood up and stepped away from the table. Unfortunately, I bumped someone accidentally.

“Watch it!” said a cold voice. I turned around and saw it was Blake. “Hey you, you’re Karen right?”

“No! My name isn’t Karen, damn it!” I yelled at him. I was enraged; he still didn’t get my name right. I quickly walked away from him and out of the restaurant.

“Cass! Wait a sec, ” I heard Brad calling my name from behind and stopped walking. “What was that all about? Who was that guy?”

“That was nothing, forget it happened” I said calmly.

“Oh come on, just tell me what the big deal is about that guy” he pried.

“He was an old crush, alright? An old crush that used me back in high school to get passing grades” I cried.

“Do you want me to beat the s**t out of that guy?!” his eyes were furious yet I don’t know why he was affected by this. It’s probably because I’m the very first person he got to know in this city.

“Let’s just, go home” I sighed.

“Seriously, I’d beat him up for you” he bragged.

“Just forget it” I replied.

BLAKE’S POV

Whoa, what was that all about? Why’d that girl yell at me like that? All I did wrong was forget her name. Her name, hmm… What was it again? Katy? No I don’t think so. Was it Claire? I don’t think so either. Bah, I don’t give a f**k. I’ve got two hot ladies around my arms and I am so sure I’m getting laid tonight.

After dining in that classy restaurant I took the girls to my place. Damn, things were heating up already. We sat on the bed and they started caressing my upper body. I’m just waiting for them to go downtown before I make my next move. Ah, sweet, sweet, Hedonistic life. Screw love, it’s only a ticket to suffocation.

“Hey Blake, should we get started?” one of the girls giggled. I smirked and gave them the go signal.

They started to take off their clothes. The two vixens pounced on me. One of them was kissing me from my neck to chest while the other was already unzipping my pants. All of a sudden, that girl at the restaurant’s image flashed inside my head. I can’t believe that I was still curious with what happened earlier. I know I shouldn’t keep on thinking about that scene but I couldn’t avoid it somehow. There were two seductive girls on top of me yet that moment still distracts me from getting horny as the two blondes are.

“Girls, girls, stop” I sat up and zipped up my pants.

“What’s wrong I thought we were going to have a good time?” they were confounded.

“Well, it’s just that, you girls aren’t hot and sexy enough for me” I arrogantly said. I, of course, had to make an excuse which wouldn’t ruin my reputation.

“What?!” they were sort of offended.

“I’m just not feeling you girls, I’m sorry. Maybe you should leave” I suggested.

The two girls were really annoyed as they got dressed up. They slammed the door on the way out as I lay in my bed thinking how stupid I am to let two hot girls go. I got my old high school yearbook from the drawer beside my bed and flipped the pages, trying to find the girl I saw earlier.

Her name was Cassandra Wilson. She was two years younger than me. Oh right, I made her do my projects back in high school. I took advantage of her crush on me and I never took her out after my senior days like I promised. Wait, why do I even care?! She’s not that hot and she’s not a s**t that I could have sex with. I’m wasting my time.

BRAD’S POV

It’s been weeks since Cass has been feeling dreary. It’s that guy’s fault. She’s the first person whom I made friends with here, I want to cheer her up but I don’t know how. She reminds me of my cousin who’s also a year younger than me. Well, she’s a whole lot tougher to cheer up than my cousin. I knocked on her door and she told me to come in.

“Hey Cass, feeling any better?” I asked.

“I’m not sick” she replied.

“Well, yeah but, you know what I mean” I said, concerned.

“I don’t get it Brad; I got him out of my mind years ago. Now I see him again and my whole world comes crashing down just like before. I don’t get why I’m this stupid” she started crying.

“Hey, stop crying” I held her in my arms as I tried to comfort her “We both know that he’s not the one for you. He’s just another sick perverted jerk, alright? Remember that, you shouldn’t fall in love with guys like that.”

“Blake, can I ask you something?” she said in a croaky voice.

“Cass, my name’s Brad” I frowned. I can see how much she used to be obsessed with this guy and now it’s all coming back to her.

“Oh, I’m so sorry!” she cried even more.

“Hey, it’s fine. What were you going to ask me?” I consoled the immature 19 year old.

“I-I just wanted to ask if you were gay” she sniffed.

“What?! NO, I’m not gay. I’m a perfectly straight guy” I was shocked.

“Oh, well in that case, um, could you move a little? I’m not really comfortable with you being this close” she said as she looked away and I removed my arm around her.

CASS’ POV

A few more weeks passed before I got myself together again. I realized Brad was right, I shouldn’t cry over a guy like Blake. Guys like him aren’t worth it. There is something else bothering me though. It’s Brad, I feel like I’m starting to like him more than a friend since he was with me for several weeks, making sure I wouldn’t do anything stupid. Then again, I don’t want to fall for someone who doesn’t like me back, anymore.

It was only 8 AM in the morning and Brad was probably still asleep so I decided not to knock on his apartment’s door. I headed to the convenient store around the corner and bought a bagel and a cup of coffee.

“Cass,” I heard a familiar voice behind me. It was Blake again.

“Oh hey, I know you! You’re Sheldon right?” I said in a sarcastic tone.

“Um, no” he said with a weird expression.

“Wait, no. Your name starts with a B, what was it? Barney?” I kept on pretending that I forgot his name.

“What?! No!” his eyes widened.

“Was it Barry or Buffy?” I acted confused.

“I see where you’re going with this” he sighed. “I’m sorry ok?”

“Sorry for what?” I asked sarcastically “Is your name Buster?”

“Stop it! I know that you know my real name!” he was getting a little pissed off.

“Boron?” I kept on pretending. I wanted to laugh so hard because he was already irritated.

“You won’t like what I’m gonna do if you don’t stop” he grunted.

“Bruno? Billy? Bo--” he cut me off. I felt his soft cold lips touching my own. I pushed him away from me and slapped his face “A*****e!”

“I warned you, didn’t I?” he smirked.

“Is this what you do to every girl you meet? You just kiss her right away even if you don’t know her that well?!” I was enraged by what he had done.

“Yes” he chuckled.

“Ugh, stay the hell away from me!!!” I yelled at him and started to walk away.

“What if I don’t want to?” he ran in front of me and started walking backwards.

“Why don’t you just leave me alone?” I asked in a serious tone.

“I don’t wanna leave you alone. I’m gonna make you pay. You owe me two chicks and you tried to push my temper to its limit” he laughed.

“What do you mean I owe you two chicks?!” I was confused.

“Remember those chicks I went in with at the restaurant? I made them leave. I couldn’t get turned on because of you” he smirked again.

“What?! How is that my fault?!” I shouted at his face.

“That scene you did at the restaurant kept on repeating in my head, it’s your fault” he chuckled again.

“I’m not gonna argue with you anymore. This is pointless” I looked down. “Just tell me what you want me to do just to get you to leave me alone.”

“Why are you so gloomy all of a sudden?” he grinned.

“I hate you” I said bitterly.

“You do?” he laughed “Then here’s what I want you to do. Tell me you still love me. Oh yeah, say my real name too.”

“No way! I can’t say that!” I panicked.

“Why not?” he pouted his lips which made him seem cute in a way. “Are you already committed?”

“YES!” I lied.

“To whom? That guy you were with at the restaurant?” he asked.

“Yes. He’s my boyfriend” I persisted.

“I don’t believe you” he raised one eyebrow.

“Why not?!” I shouted.

“If he was your boyfriend he should be here with you” he replied.

“We don’t have to be together all the time” I reasoned out.

“If I was your boyfriend I would be” he grinned again.

“Shut up! If you had a girlfriend you’d probably be cheating on her right now!” I was really annoyed already.

“Why do you talk like you know me that well?” he was serious for that moment.

“After what you’ve done to me? Oh please, don’t act stupid” I groaned.

“Hey, those flirtations are only part time. When I fall in love, I fall hard” he lifted his eyebrows.

“I don’t believe you” I teased.

“It doesn’t matter, just do what I told you to do” he replied.

“Why would you want me to say that anyway?!” I asked.

“It’s because it’ll annoy you and you’d wash your mouth after” he sneered.

“You’re evil, I’m never gonna do that, I’m faithful to my boyfriend” I lied to him.

BLAKE’S POV

Cass seems to be different now. I don’t think her knees feel like jelly when I’m talking to her anymore. In fact she must really hate me right now. She was challenging this time around which makes her more interesting. Did I just say that she was interesting to me? Oh well, I’m pretty sure it won’t be anything serious. I’ll just get back at her by making her fall in love with me again and make it last for a week. Her boyfriend, hmm…what to do with him… Just then at the corner of my eye I saw the guy she was claiming to be her boyfriend walking.

“Are you sure?” I grinned and hugged her tightly enough for me to stop her from struggling. Of course, she was trying to fight back but she couldn’t get my arms off of her. I looked at the guy; he stared for a while and then walked into the convenient store. I guess Cass was lying, if that guy was her boyfriend he would’ve been furious and tackled me within a split second.

“You’re such a liar” I laughed and let go of her. “Your so-called boyfriend went in the convenient store and didn’t even react negatively.”

She started to walk away but I pulled her back towards me. I could tell she was already panicking with her eyes wide open.

“You owe me remember?” I smiled crookedly.

“Why would I say something that’s not true?!” her eyes showing annoyance

“We both know that what I’m asking you to do is true” I whispered.

“Fine, I still like you Blake. Happy now?” she said, agitated.

“Not quite” I replied.

“You’re such a dick!” she was already mad.

“I know, I’ve got a huge one” I joked. “You’re a lot more interesting now than you were back then Cass, I’ll call you sometime.”

“You don’t know my number” she was confounded.

“I have connections, I can get your number whenever I want” I bragged and walked away from her.

BRAD’S POV

I don’t get it, why would she allow him to hug her? I thought she despised that good for nothing jerk. Were they friends already? I have to be honest, I was jealous when I saw them. I started to have feelings for Cass weeks ago. I guess spending too much time with her made this happen. But I guess that wouldn’t matter now that Blake’s got her.

I went back to my apartment and found Cass standing in front of my door. She looked a little bothered which made me worry a little too.

“Hey, what’s up?” I asked. “Aren’t you supposed to be with that Blake guy?”

“Blake? Why would I be with Blake?! Why would you think that?!” she was shocked.

“Well, I saw him hugging you awhile ago. I thought you guys were already…you know…” I explained.

“That was nothing. I told him that you were my boyfriend so did that to prove that I was lying. He said that if you were my boyfriend you would’ve been furious” she clarified.

“Oh, well that’s good, right?” I said unsure.

“Yeah, but I don’t get it Brad. There’s this part of me that still wants to be with him. You have to help me” she pleaded.

“H-How can I help?” I stammered. I was hoping she would ask me to pretend that we were together.

“I was actually hoping that you’d always stay near me. You know, it might make Blake keep his distance and avoid ruining my day” she grinned.

“Well, okay if you say so” I scratched my head.

“Thank you so much! I owe you a lot” she hugged me. “Thank you for always being there. You’re the first real friend I’ve had in years.”

“It’s nothing really. To be honest, I really enjoy making you happy” I smiled and hugged her back.

All of a sudden her phone started ringing. She said she didn’t know the number so picked up the call for her. I thought it was just some creepy stalker or pervert but I was wrong. It was Blake, I wanted to curse him through the phone so much but I had to restrain myself from doing that. I wouldn’t want Cass to think that I’m just like all the other guys.

“What do you want?” I asked.

“Oh come on you dork give Cass the phone” he asserted.

“No! What do you want from her?!” I replied.

“What’s your name again? You’re that Bobby guy right?” he sounded sardonic.

“Here you go again with names. What’s wrong d********g? You got a dull memory?” I sneered.

“Whatever dickhead just give Cass the phone. Stop acting like you’re her man” he insisted. I walked away from Cass so she wouldn’t hear what I was about to say.

“I’ll tell you something, alright? Cass and I, we’re together so stop bothering her, got that?” I told him.

“I don’t believe you” I heard him chuckle.

“You can’t do anything about it anymore Blake. Stay away from my girl” I said somberly.

“Fine, fine I’ll believe that you two are together but that won’t stop me from trying to get her” he snickered.

“What?! Why won’t you just leave us alone?!” I yelled.

“Watch your back dweeb, I’m could steal your girl anytime I want” he ended the call with those words.

“Brad, what was that all about? Who was that?” Cass asked as she approached me.

“It was just some sicko trying to find a person he could disturb” I pretended.

BLAKE’S POV

I couldn’t sleep that night. I just had this strong urge to call her and irritate her over the phone but I couldn’t all because of that guy Brad. I turned my back on my cell phone and closed my eyes. I tried to fantasize about the past lovers I had but here comes the image of Cass again distracting me. Damn that girl, she always distracts me from my sexual fantasies. I don’t get it, why can’t I just forget about her whenever I want?

I took a peek behind me. I saw my phone, cold and waiting for me to hold it again. I quickly grabbed it and dialed Cass’ number. After a few rings, she finally picked up. But wait, it wasn’t a she, it was a he. It was Brad again, damn that a*s.

“Blake, give it up. I’m staying with Cass for the night so you won’t be able to disrupt her tonight. ” he sounded perplexed. I hung up on him instantly.

I threw my phone across my king-sized bed. I tried to sleep again. Luckily, this time around I got to arrive in dreamland.

I looked in the mirror and saw myself wearing a tux. Why was I wearing a tux?! I went out of the unfamiliar room I was in and found my male friends and relatives in tuxedos too. They were smiling and laughing, it was like we were going to celebrate something.

“Hey! There’s our guy! How’re you feeling Blake? Are you nervous?” one of them said.

“Why would I be nervous?” I said in a twisted expression.

“Yeah, why would he be nervous? He’s going to marry the girl he loves for Pete’s sake he’s probably excited, not nervous” my cousin suggested.

Girl? What girl? Which one? Did I get one of them pregnant? Is that why I’m getting married?! In a few moments I found myself waiting at the altar with my best man.

“Dude, I don’t think I’m ready for this. I have to leave, help me” I whispered to my best man.

“What are you talking about man?! Last night you were telling me how you never want to let her go and now this?” he was totally freaked out.

I saw the bride walking slowly. I could tell she was cherishing each step. I looked at her feet wishing she would just turn around and run away, but then my gaze moved upward. I saw her angelic face making my heart beat fast, faster than any other moment in my life. I was getting married to Cassandra Wilson. I don’t know why but I couldn’t help smiling. I bit my lip with a flurry feeling.

I wanted to fast forward the moment already but then, she stopped walking. I guess I got my wish, she ran back outside. A heavy oppressing feeling came over me. I ran after her and found her riding inside a car with Brad as the driver. Brad stepped outside of the vehicle carrying a pistol.

“What are you doing Brad?!” I shouted.

“Just making sure you won’t bother us anymore” he grinned at me and loaded the pistol. He pointed the gun at me and pulled the trigger. I felt the bullet penetrate through my heart with the blood flowing out as I fell down.

I woke up immediately. I breathed in and out deeply while trying to calm myself. I pondered on my strange dream. Of all the girls I’ve dated, why would I dream about me getting married to Cass? Is it possible? Have I fallen for her just because she’s been stuck in my mind for weeks now? Or is it just my conscience playing with my thoughts? All I know is, if only Cass knew she’d be laughing at me right now because this torture was too much of revenge. Should I worry about this? Maybe this was just a phase.

I realized it was already 10 AM in the morning. I got up and had breakfast at old McDonald’s. After that I went to the record store, hoping to find an album of my favorite band. Unfortunately, there was only one copy left so I tried to grab it quickly. There was another hand who was trying to grab it. It was a female hand.

“Blake?!” it was Cass.

“Hey, I didn’t expect to see you here” I said surprised.

“Are you really trying to ruin every single day of my life?!” she was really frantic.

“I used to intend that” I chuckled “but I realized it wouldn’t be worth it. By the way I didn’t know we had the similar type of music.”

“Don’t small talk me, just give me the album” she squinted her eyes.

All of a sudden I had the urge to buy it for her.I grabbed the disc from her hand and paid for it at the counter. I looked behind me and found her hands were already formed into fists.

“Here, it’s yours. Consider it as a sorry gift” I smiled and gave the disc to her.

“Wh-What do you mean? Is this some stupid joke again?!” she said in disbelief.

“No, I’m trying to fix things with you. I don’t want to go on the rest of my life with this face always furious when I’m around” I tucked her hair behind her ear.

“Okay?” she was still unsure how to react.

“You know you look cute when you’re confused” I smirked.

“I see where you’re going with this” she looked down and headed for the exit.

“Hey, don’t get me wrong” I grabbed her arm. “I like you, I really do.”

“Yeah well, maybe I would’ve bought that line when I was in high school. Too late, jerk” she was already annoyed again.

“I’m serious. Come one, I’ll take you out to a movie and maybe dinner later” I offered.

“No thanks” she mumbled.

“Hey, I never asked. I’m telling you to come with me. You still owe me remember?” I grinned.

“If I go would you promise me that you’d leave me alone after this day?” she asked.

“Can’t you extend that for a week?” I put my arm around her.

“Fine, a week” she frowned.

“Hey! Get your hands off of her!” Brad yelled. He arrived just in time to ruin my moves. I didn’t want to make a huge scene so I took my arm off of her.

“She’s coming with me tonight Brad” I taunted.

“Brad, it’s alright. I can manage” she looked at him. Brad had no other choice but to leave, sweet sweet revenge.

I took her to a horror movie. You know how the holding hands trick goes, but that doesn’t seem to work on her. This girl’s tough, but at least she’s with me. She was true to her word, she let me take her out on dates for a week and it seems that she wasn’t mad at me anymore. We were friends, good friends, but this time around, I wanted more than that. On the very last day I took her to the beach. People were having a huge party there. I dragged Cass on stage and I kneeled in front of her.

“Cass, will you be my girl?” I asked. People were shouting out suggesting that she should say yes.

“Y-Yeah sure” her face was red. The crowd roared and continued with the partying. I took her to a more serene spot on the beach.

“Why’d you say yes?” I chuckled. “You still like me don’t you? That feeling never really went away, did it?”

“Fine, I’ll admit it. After all this time, I still love you Blake” she blushed and hugged me.

“Your debt is paid” I whispered. Her cozy mood turned into a state of shock.

“Was that it?! That’s why you took me out on dates?! You pretended you liked me so I’d admit that I still like you?!” she yelled. She started walking away teary-eyed. I pulled her back making her face me.

“Hey that’s not what I meant, I was just kidding” I said in a soft voice. I wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.

My lips moved down to her lips. I kissed her softly since I just wanted to calm her down and let her know that I really liked her. After a few moments I found her lips moving with mine too. I couldn’t help but kiss her even more torridly. I don’t know why but I just wanted to keep on kissing her. The feeling was weird. It was like some mind control poison was running through my veins, then again I liked it.

I stopped kissing her, allowing her to catch her breath. I smiled and hugged her tightly. I whispered the three words I’ve never used on any other girl before. Usually, the girl would say “I love you” to me and I would reply “Yeah, me too”. I heard her giggle for a second and she hugged me back. I started to kiss her again.

BRAD’S POV

Where is she? Cass should’ve been home hours ago. That no good Blake must’ve done something really bad to her already? No, maybe I’m just overreacting. Cass could take care of herself; she’s nineteen for Pete’s sake. I have to stop worrying. Then again, I couldn’t help looking out the window.

After a few minutes I saw her with Blake. They were giggling and Blake’s arm was around her waist. I guess it’s official, Blake got the girl already. Wrath and pain were the only things that I felt. I wanted to punch the wall and destroy the things surrounding me just to let all my anger out but that wouldn’t help.

I waited for them at Cass’ doorstep. Blake’s smile turned into a straight face. Cass on the other hand had no idea why the aura suddenly changed.

“Cass can I talk to you later?” I asked in a low voice.

“Actually, she’s spending the night with me so you can’t but you can talk to her now” Blake grinned.

“I’m not asking you, jerk!” I yelled.

“Blake, please don’t start” Cass said convincingly “What is it Brad?”

“I was hoping we could talk about this in private” I looked away.

“Fine, Blake you wouldn’t mind right?” she asked.

“Yeah, sure” he replied.

Cass and I had our conversation in her apartment. Blake was left outside, it’s either he really trusted Cass or he didn’t care. I think the latter makes more sense.

“Brad is there something wrong?” she looked worried.

“Are you and Blake together already?!” I said softly so Blake wouldn’t hear.

“Well, yeah why?” she answered.

“Why?! Would you please explain why you agreed to go out with that guy?” my voice was getting louder. “I thought you hated that guy?!”

“Brad, he already made amends for those things. We became friends and the next thing I know I was falling in love with him all over again. Why are you so mad about this?” she said in dismay.

“Haven’t you had enough back then?! Haven’t you learned your lesson yet?! My god Cass, don’t act so stupid just because of this guy. He’s only going to hurt you all over again too!” I yelled.

“What is your problem?! It’s my heart not yours. I know I should be grateful for every time that you were there for me but Brad, I’ll still do what my heart tells me to. Please understand, I would take this risk one more time because I’m madly in love with this guy” she was teary-eyed. I felt sorry for making her upset.

“You really love him huh?” I said calmly. “He’s one lucky b*****d. Oh well, good luck with life.”

“What do you mean?” she was baffled.

“I don’t want to see you, not while you’re with him” I never thought I could say those words to her but I had to. Seeing her would remind me of the pain every time.

“What? Why?” she had a puzzled look on her face.

“You would only remind me of too much pain” I hugged her tight thinking it would be the last time. I told her not to ask any further and I walked out of her apartment.

“Congratulations, you’ve got her head over heels for you all over again” I told Blake.

“Hey, I’m in love with her, I did everything I could to get her” he smirked.

“Listen, don’t you ever, ever hurt her or else you’re gonna pay big time. Once you let her go, I swear to god you’ll never get her back” I warned him.

“Hey, I’m not that stupid to let a girl like her out of my arms” he chuckled.

I went back inside my apartment and sat on the corner of my bed for the rest of the night, sleepless. I wonder if I could ever get her back. What’s worse is I’m afraid that Blake will only hurt her again.

CASS’ POV

I stood there in the middle of the room, motionless. I can’t believe that I was going to lose a friend. I don’t want to lose him, but I loved Blake. What should I do? The next thing I knew, I was already crying. I thought this day was already perfect, but I was wrong.

“What’s wrong?” I felt Blake hug me from behind. “What did Brad tell you?”

“H-He told me that he doesn’t want to see me as long as we’re together” I squeaked.

“Hey, I’ll always be here. I won’t leave you, ever” he said in a soothing voice. I stopped crying after that. I felt warm in his arms.

“Thank you” I whispered.

“Maybe you should stay with me for a while, you know, you might feel more miserable if you live next to him” he proposed.

I agreed and I packed half of my wardrobe. In a matter of minutes, we were at his place. I sat on his bed and looked at him. I found him staring back at me with a twisted expression on his eyes. I felt nervous since I don’t know what his real intentions were for now. He’s known as a philanderer in this city, maybe I was wrong to agree with him. What am I saying? He’s my boyfriend now, I should trust him more.

He slowly approached the bed and sat beside me. He pressed his head against my shoulder. His warm breath brushed on my skin. He lifted his head abruptly and kissed me on the cheek. It felt weird though, I couldn’t predict what he was doing.

“I’m tired. Can we sleep now? Please?” he said in a cute manner.

“Alright, alright” I giggled.

“Don’t I get a goodnight kiss?” he kidded.

“Fine” I groaned. I gave him a peck on the lips and we both lied down on the bed. He put his arm around me, closed his eyes and whispered “I love you” in my ear.

I like the storyline of this story. It's pretty run of the mill, but you added a little bit of your own twist. The only thing is that you made it kind of confusing by not adding punctuation in your dialogue. You put it like “Alright, alright” I giggled. To make it less confusing, I would put this: "Alright, alright," I giggled. Punctuation always needs to be in the quotes, not just when you use a question mark.
Also, you tended to switch between the present (I look) and past (I looked) tense. I would change that, if I was you. It's not very confusing, but it will make your story better and easier to read. I did like it, though. (:
