Spreading across the heavens, to infinity
An eternal endless all, unchanging glory
Fading evanescently, into a foggy nothing
Finite and malleable, to the touch
A vast kaleidoscope, of pinprick light
Myriad mingling together, in the form one Out of reach, but within the grasp of mind
Yet far beyond, the thin streaks, that burn brighter
Giving unending depth, to the canvas sky, in a blink
Picture framed, by horizons
When in truth, an endless, expanding existence
Which contains all, our solitary worlds
Ones who dream, it teeming
And those oblivious
It was a great poem, and I enjoyed the vivid description, and the flow. It was realy relaxing after a day of walking around giving little kids a horse ride in the park all day, lol, "they don't want to stop till their tired". Also relaxing when you have a little anoying brother as mine. Thank You for your poem, I am glad to have read it!!!
I love this poem as well. Solitude can be truly invaluable in exploring our own minds and imagination. One would never feel alone after reading this ;)

This is a truly wonderful poem. I too am reminded of the Aurora Borealis, as you give such a vivid description of the night sky. I really enjoyed reading this, as it flows very smoothly.

Quite a vivid poem. Through the entire thing, I was envisioning the Aurora Borealis, which is quite beautiful. You have such a large array of words that you manipulate in just the right way. Even though the poem was short, it at the same time made my mind go wild. It kind of reminds me of the solitude of winter and the way in which everything goes quiet.
A very beautiful poem, wonderful choice of words. Really provokes thought and wonder within you.
