TornA Poem by Chaos StoneOne of my earliest 'good' writings, probably age 17.
Torn between two, searching for three Bringing them, to the depths of me A dark and lonely level At the bottom of the barrel, scraping That’s where I’ll be
Afraid to climb these walls So strong and high Into your land of lies Into your lights, and judging eyes
So alone, I scratch at these walls Cutting hands and spirit Your nam,e this rasping voice calls Is there anybody listening
Submerged in despair Will I see you there? A dark and lonely depth At the bottom of a heavy heart, drowning Too much weight to bear
Reservoir of tears, I can’t dam Undermine, who I am Slowly worn away A rush of words, overwhelm me The ugly truth I see
Turbulent waters, bear me down Its depths break me, with a violent sound Too tired to struggle And it washed me, so far away © 2015 Chaos StoneReviews
