AmbrosialA Poem by Chaos StoneA trip through space and time.
Morning star goddess, shining bright It doesn’t burn, like a cepheid light Hung suspended animation, in ever bluing skies She comes with the pitchest black To chase away, the dread fear of night With the divine, sunrise bliss of life She cosmic faith, of benevolent grace Beyond this earthly, malice and strife
Drawn to her gravity touch, with a perpetual, orbit sense Traverse this, million empty mile, void existence To eclipse her florid, effeminate shine Lift her gossamer veil, of lurid secrets And taste the panacea, of her ensanguine shrine All is unknown, beyond the precipice, of her event horizon As we travel, celestial lines, that bespeak, interstellar rhyme These transparent, words of logic find, so ill defined
Fusion violent beauty, blazing distant A coruscating quasar, candescence Rainbow spectrum elegance, burning the dark mirror expanse This scintillating fireball, of solar flare radiance By God’s given gift, of heavenly folly, do we exist When starburst birthed, this cosmic nucleosynthesis
