Love : Hate

To love is to hate,
To hate is to love,
Emotions come over me,
As they never have before,

To love is to desire,
To long for,
To sacrifice,
To touch,

Letting another control one’s thoughts and feelings,
Unstable without him or her,
The instability can lead one of two ways,
Explosions of kindness and generosity or of anger and rage,

To hate is to love,
To deny one’s longings,
To sacrifice one’s thoughts and feelings,
To touch their innermost emotions,

I love you so much I hate you,
I hate you so much I love you,
You take up all of my thoughts,
Take up all of my emotions,

I flip a coin in the air,
Love is heads, hate is tails,
The very thinnest of lines separate the two,
The love : hate ratio is equal.
