Appliance Test

Appliance Test

A Poem by Gerri Tucker

My mother suggested

I wash my underwear in the dishwasher

Replace my plates with panties

For a sudsy spin.

I had recently moved

She was joking, sort of

With no indoor laundry facilities

A resourceful lady.

Remarkably versatile appliance it is

Capable of cleaning,

Even cooking fish!

We felt a test was in order.

So my panties went in.
