Touch

Touch

A Poem by Gerri Tucker
"

What I imagine a confidant person might say to their new lover.

"

Your lips

On my neck

Make your way down to my chest

Pause!

Let me feel the flutter

Of your lungs on my skin

Synchronize

The breath

Shared between us

.

Touch

So gently

The skin of my back

Wait!

Linger there

Don't dive any deeper

Feel

The heat

Generated between us

.

Lower

Your arm

Let it brush against my leg

Remain!

Let me know

You find my shape pleasing

Kiss

My stomach

The feeling shared between us

.

Return

Your lips

Let them rest on mine

Your hands

They are free

I will return the favor

Slow,

Don't Rush!

This moment shared between us

.

Let me know

What you want

And I'll let you go deeper

Be careful,

My lover

I will turn you into a Pleaser

Author's Note

Gerri Tucker
If there is a lack of connection, that may be because I am a virgin of love and physical pleasure. Let me know if certain words would ring better. I kind of wanted it to be vague so that anyone could place their first romance into the scene, maybe remember things. I don't know really. I was bored really and needed to write, but any help is appreciated.
