When The World Rained GlassA Poem by Edward
Sitting in the twilight night,
I felt so amazing being bathed in the evening light. I was sitting upon a mountain glade, Viewing a forested valley with a river flowing with the reflection of a blade. It was a beautiful warm evening, And I wanted this to be our last meeting. I wanted the world to always be like the beauty I saw before me, Then the sky began to fall and it began to rain glass, but I did not flee. I watched as little shards of glass fell from the collapsing sky, I closed my eyes to see this moment forever, before I said my last goodbye. I woke up, it was just a dream, Reality had the best of me, or so it seemed. Because when I go to the lake on my favourite hour, I still feel the warmth and see my twilight world sparkling with the glass shard shower. © 2013 EdwardReviews
