All Because He Ran Away

Walking down the aisle,

She sees his stunning face.

 

People looking in awh at her snow colored dress,

She smiles at him in his black suit.

 

Shes been waiting for this all her life,

This is what she's dreamed, this moment.

 

The one thing shes wanted more then anything,

She is let go by her father, being told that she is now free to go.

 

She faces him, the love of her life,

They smile deeply holding on to every momment.

 

The priest opens his book,

They say there vows, she waits for his I do.

 

She looks at his confused face,

She notices his hesitation.

 

He says I dont,

Her world comes crashing down.

 

All she ever wanted, has been taken,

The one thing she had been wanting all her life.

 

He ran away, full on out of the church,

Leavng her in tears.

 

Her knees are weak, as she collapes to the floor,

Her father runs to her, and trys to calm her down.

 

But what else can he do? Everything they had is gone,

But they night will be lifted with the rising dawn.
