Cut In Two

Cut In Two

A Poem by Edward

"Please, we mustn't wake him,
He is muliputive and grim,
And he'll drown you if you try to swim."

' Nice try, but it's to bad you have awaken me,
Even you can't be as quiet as a tree,
Persuade her, that's the answer can't you see?'

"No I can't, she's my best friend, I can't make her,
She will snap I tell ya, as fast as an adder."

' You will listen to me!
Oh look, now you have made her angry,
Now she is yelling like a banshee!
I try to help you but you always make people angry!'

" YOU do nothing but cause me trouble!
I LOSE friends over your stupid bundle!
I want to get out of this funnel!
Your full of lies!
And that is what I despise!
You use me as a disguise,
Ignoring all my helpless cries.

' You treat me like this?
After I got you that first kiss?
And even that nice bottle of Swiss?
Well listen here,
You and I are two halves of the same gear.
We need each other to run,
Do I make myself clear?'

" We don't need each other,
See? She forgave me. Now you listen HERE buster!
I hate you! Get out of my head!
I would rather be way out. Far ahead.
Tonight you will die in this bed.
Because tonight I'm driving a bullet through your head,
Oh really? You don't believe what I said?
Look you have already begun to bleed.
Finally I am free from you and your miss deeds."

"The boys good side"
' boys bad side'

Author's Note

Edward
I once knew a kid who was split between two personalities. One was always nice loving kind while the other was always manipulative and played the guilt card. As far as I know he is better and has his good side. For good. Enjoy :)

I would like to know someone with split personailies...it would be cool. Wishing myself to have one? Well I guess that would be going a little too far...after all Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) or Mutiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is usually caused by a huge trama that happened in the persons lives (of course I would know this for some strange reason...you know how I am Arkun *shrugs*), so I guess that would be kind of depressing and slightly, odd, for me to wish that upon myself isn't it?
Anyway, as Coyote has said, most of us do have two-sides. That side that wants to stay good, and the other that wants to take the risk and push things over the edge (or line, however you'd like to call it). Some show there goods side more, while others like to present the risky, pushy "bad" side. But no matter which side is more present in each person, everyone can have a "good" or "bad" side.
I love ths struggle and emotion you put into this, the desperation. It was strong from the being to end and kept my attention through the whole thing. No boredom or too long-ness, here. Just right. (I'm sounding like Goldie Locks and the Three Bears....much be watching too much Grimm)
Well, enough of my rambling and babbling (I happen to do this when I want to make a point or my mind wanders off...). Amazing poem, well done. Happy that I decided to randomly stalk your page, since you never send me reading requests (unless you do and I just haven't checked, like usual...)

Ha ha! This was good! I've known a few people with splits. Most of them were by choice though, never true identity issues. I guess they just didn't like who they were or were trying to find out who they should be.

I like it! ^_^

Thank you ! :D
A very interesting poem. Most of us have two-sides. One with balance and the other desire to raise hell ad no rules. I like the struggle and the internal discussion. A strong ending to the poem. No weakness in the excellent poetry.
