I have an odd obsession with rusted things. It's beautiful, really. You can't really imagine the things you have becoming rotting relics from the past. It's just a fact of life. Nothing lasts forever.
Things decay and rot in time. Metals, fabrics, hearts, and minds. It takes up to years or minutes for things to reach past their prime.
All that hard work making things fine and top of the line. It will, one day, become dust and grime.
It's all about time. Everything depends on deadlines. Everything has an expiration date. Some ends are just harder to pin point. You can't fix everything with a cheap anoint.
Rusted keys dangle from a century old door that refuses to be open. The hinges are stuck in a time where visitors weren't welcome. It has something to hold in. Things worth forgetting.
Rusted keys dangle over the overgrowth that once was a family home. It's now home to the past memories hidden in the grove.
This is actually very meaningful.
So what you are saying, is everything gets old and dies.
Old squeaky doors. Light bulbs live a life, till they go out. Everything has a life span not just humans.
Some longer than others.
Interesting way of saying all this.
That was very deep.
Great write, very cleaver :)

It's all one cycle.
People make things such as tools, or any other sort of knick knack. They stop using it for so long that it decays. The same thing happens with our bodies, our mind, and our sense of humanity. Even if you keep using these things, it will rot. Keep in mind, that the more you use something, it can become worn as well. So there has to be a medium. You have to use your mind, or tools, or anything with care. If you simply leave things out, well it's bound to end at some point.

I like the way you think. I have not thought about it much. Though its all true.

Old people sometimes loose there memory, because they over worked there brain when they where younger, they over used it.
Our bones get old and weak to as we grow up.
As you said this is why we must take care of ourselves, and not over use anything.
Brilliant poem really :)

Expressing oneself is probably the most difficult things to do. It takes words that have never been said, and things never done before. Writers and artists create from nothing. I like to think that ev.. more..
