Kate arrives home to her mother.
" Hey, mom." Hey Kate. Did you do anything new today with your friends?" Well, not really anything new." Kate said suspiciously." Really? You didn't learn anything new?" Well, um, here's what happened. My friend was doing some work and that friend wanted someone to go with them to research."Sure, you can go." Wait, I'm not done. We're going out of the forest, and my friend is a boy."Okay. It's fine." Wait, what? I can go? You usually get mad and all protective. Is there something wrong?" Do you want to go or not?" Oh, yeah, right. Thanks mom." Kate went to bed, still wondering why her mother is acting much more calm.

The Next Day

"Kate! Wake up! Your friend is here!" Kate's mom shouted." Okay!" Kate should be out in a second." Okay, thank you." You know, you look like a fine young man." Um, thanks?" Oh, Kate, I need to talk to you about something." Yeah, what is it?" It's about your friend, Arietta. Her father died ( or will die ) and she invited you to his funeral. She also sent you this, she said something about a humanoid stone, or whatever." Oh, I feel so sorry for her." Yeah, she also wrote a note for you." Thanks. Well I'm headed off." Oh, I'm going to miss you!" I know mom. Bye!!!" Bye.
Kate walks out of the doorway and to her friend, Adam.

Part 2

"So, where are we headed first?" Well, were going to go to Versil Jungle first, then we can go all the way around to Keasile Forest and take the bridge from there back here." Oh, um, Adam? I have to tell you something." Yeah, what is it?" Well, my friend's dad died and I was wondering if we could go to his funeral." Oh, I feel sorry for her. Yeah, I guess we can lengthen our trip." Oh great!" Yep. So, lets start heading this way." Wow, this is such a beautiful forest." Yep, have you never been over this way?" Nope. My mom is "overly-protective." She just wants me to be safe." Yeah. So, what'cha got there in your hand?" Oh this? It's some kind of "Humanoid Stone", and a note...." What does the note say?" Hm, it says,
"Hey Kate! I have sent this note to inform you about the humanoid stone. The Humanoid Stone is a stone that will, of course, turn you into a human. You might not recognize how to walk and do things humans do, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. That's all! Love you Kate!
