Logan. -Dexter Spin Off-

Hello everyone, I've never written a story before, but I loved Dexter, and wanted to write something to sorta give my take on it. This is chapter 1, I want to write more, please give feedback! :D

Chapter 1. "Born from 2 Killers."

Ah. Life.

It never gets old.

Well, I mean sometimes it does, but that's only when i'm not killing people.

Oh, I may want to mention, that's what I do. Kill people. Crazy right? Well, maybe I am

indeed crazy. A funny word, "crazy." The official definition is mentally deranged, especially

as manifested in a wild or aggressive way. Funny thing is, I kill people, yet I don't feel

"crazy." Of course that could be denial... I like to try and not read that far into why I do

what I do. It's a need. Like eating, or sleeping. It's natural really. Trust me, it gets better.

I'm only 17, to add on to all of this. Hey though, when you have an urge, I suppose it doesn't

matter what age you are. Although, i'm not afraid to admit this isn't your average teenage hormone.

In fact, i've never had sex. I've never done drugs, never rebelled. I'm the 'good kid' actually, out of all 3.

My names Logan, there's my sister Sophia, and my brother Harrison. I'm the middle child. Sophia is the youngest, and of course

Harrison is the oldest. I love them both dearly of course, but boy can they be a pain in my a*s. Here's a fun fact;

Harrison, my brother, isn't even related to my mom. We're half-brothers, because we have the same dad, same with Sophia.

We're half-sisters because we share the same mom. My mother's name is Hannah, and my dad, well, step-dad's name is Jacob.

I don't know much about my blood dad.His name was Dexter, and from what Hannah tells me, he was a great guy. Thing is though, he was also a killer.

My siblings don't know about that part, just me. My mom saw that I was different, and told me all about it, to try and help.

My dad was a serial killer, and truth be told, i've looked into his case. From what she told me, I was able to figure out,

that he fit the description of the Bay Harbor Butcher in Miami, Florida. Some guy named James Doakes Got the credit though.

But, he's dead now. Something about a boat? I don't really care how he died to be honest. I never met him, and from what mom tells me, I really wish I could have. We live in Argentina, a pretty cool place. I'm also the only one

of my siblings to figure out why we live here. My mom is a fugitive in Florida, wanted for murder.

Boy this is just one big fun family.

Full of killers.

Harrison doesn't know our dad was a killer, and Sophia doesn't know our mom was a killer.

Why me? Why do I have to bare this. Genetics I suppose. Harrison was born from 1 killer, but not 2. I don't know anything about his biological mom. Not that I care anyway. Let's try and pull this back on track.

My name is Logan, and I am a killer. Born from 2 killers. That's all you need to know.

My mom tries to help me with these urges, and I pretend I'm making progress. I've been doing this for about a year now.

I've had an urge to kill ever since I was small, but. It's hard to kill people when you're 5. It's not as hard as you'd think to kill people

at 16 or 17 though. All I can focus on every day, is the kill. The ritual, the setup. According to my mom, Dexter was the same way, all the way up until the end... In his final days, she said he called her, saying he didn't need to kill anymore.

Must be nice.

So, tonight I kill. My mother told me Dexter killed people who deserved it, a way to channel it. Not me.

I kill anyone I want, anywhere I can.

Tonight's the night.
