Poverty – A lifeless life

Poverty – A lifeless life

A Poem by Diwakar - "The Warrior of Will"
"

Poverty is the worst thing ........

"

In-discernibly incarcerated for no crime,
Hushed pain unduly gifted,
Teasingly duped by rich,
An icon of clemency painted

Tantalizing moans are hollow,
Money befall a specter deity,
Lifeless actions reincarnate life,
Heart crammed with excruciating anxiety,

Loan counting myriad breadths,
Freedom snivel tears of bloody pain,
Life altered into game of ignominy,
Rights & Independence dies insane.

Questions murdered brutally,
Answers twisted barely insignificant
Meaningless time replicate itself,
Rich enjoys broadcast magnificent.

Justice evaporates in rain of emptiness,
Aloof and gloomily treated,
Poverty imitate a situation,
As if god has undyingly cheated.

Thy soul has carved incarnation,
Salacious solitude crafting demise,
Oh lord! Give thy soul relief,
This poverty kills your premise.

That was beautiful, I am always at awe when I read your poems. Poverty is terrible and you gave it the demeanor that was needed. I like how you showed people the side they never truely see. That they always block out.

I agree with your words. When nations are born to struggle. They have little chance to survive. I like the honest and meaningful feel in the words. Would be nice if the nations that could would send food and medicine. Wood for constructing home, schools and hospitals instead of guns and tanks. I like the ending to the outstanding poetry.

Giving light to a horrible situation..that there doesn't seem to be a solution to rid the world of this horrible thing to humanity...

This is the reality of poverty...I have seen it, and it is heartbreaking in a cruel world.
