Nothing has changed

Man i gotta say Life is taking shots at me
Now i got holes in my heart.
Because i see you with a new dude
Wondering if he treats you like i used to.
Does he stare into your eyes than brush those hairs out your eyes then tells you that your beautiful?
Does he hold you when you cry ?
Does he kiss you forehead then pulls you tight and tell you everything is gunna alright?
Does the little things about him spark the light in your eyes so the darkness doesn't feel so cold anymore?
These are things i did for you or at least i thought i did.
Yea I get it you're family didn't like me .
they thought i was the reason for you not being happy
in reality i was the one who cared for you , the only person that was truly there for you.
I was your ride or die
Its sad that i had to play the victim and put my pride aside
But when you said those words i think my heart died.
Man im stuck with this pain and it drives me insane
I look in the mirror and i see nothing has changed.
Damn.
