My Skin Is Manmade

My Skin Is Manmade

A Poem by Sarah Ahmed

The sky is a chance and my skin is manmade
Your dying religion in need of medical aid
I formed the function of clay with varied masterful pieces
And as I've given you sickness, I will take all your diseases

So grasp your own soul, and let it free to be open
I cherish greed and conceit, and only vow to the broken
And now your spirit has risen, and your mind has awoken
And any declaration of faith will remain never spoken

Your holy truth is a process designed with incomprehension
Although I don't understand it, that is the will of my intention
And so this earthly dimension is but my own mere invention
And resurrection is one thing that no clean soul dares to mention

Your promised day of account will be reckoned in my laugher
So I may show my gratitude to your sadistic hereafter
I will kill your religion and I will mock all your people
I will brainwash your offsprings and I will call myself equal.......

Because I'm uneducated.
