No Time For GoodbyesA Story by Stephanie SnyderAn immensely short story, this was written to help express my feelings concerning a certain boy...He held me close and then the sharp pain came, a stabbing in my abdomen followed by a cold trickle. That trickle became a river, and then the river began to gush. I felt my life flowing from me; I felt his rough shirt underneath my fingers as I stared in disbelief; I could feel the frozen quality my expression had taken on. He'd brought me so close, deceived me, and allowed me to think I was forgiven. © 2008 Stephanie Snyder |
